Time to start

So, this is my first blog...ever. And I am really excited about it. I mean, I have so much going on and with it being such a crazy time, I want to really savor it and remember everything! So here goes:
I am a twenty something college graduate who is working 2 jobs, planning a wedding to the love of my life, seeing him on the weekends (damn long-distance engagements) and trying to make time to see my friends, so they will still be my friends. And these are my messy adventures. Sometimes, I can hardly believe the people in my life, or the way things work out, but I love it all!
Right now, I am about 7 months away from my wedding and I just can't wait for it to get here. I am so tired of the hurry up and wait routine we've been doing since we got engaged in December.

So far I have:
-an engagement ring
-a church and officiant
-a reception hall
-a dress
-1 out of 6 bridesmaid dresses (one step at a time, people)
-tuxes
-a bridal party
-a photographer
-a honeymoon (yahoo! Antigua here we come!)
-a very stretched budget, a head full of big ideas and not a lot of spare time

I know I have been difficult and frustrated at times, but the people around me (my family, my bridesmaids and esp my wonderful fiance, Kevin) have been completely amazing and I know we will get it all done. Well, that is it for now... more stories to come.
